Special output control characters.

Description

are special characters available to the Runoff processor:
@, @^, @\, &, &^, &\, ^, ^^, \, \\, _, <, >.

Runoff features Special Control Characters for Upper/Lower Case Control, Underlining, Boldface Printing, Tabbing, and Special Character Override.
