Command/Output Processor: Commands, Releases: AP

Outputs text on next line to terminal.

Syntax

.prompt .prm

Description

outputs the text on the following line to the terminal.

This command is often used with the '.input' command to prompt for user input.

Example

.prompt
Enter the name:
Dear .input,

Enclosed is the additional product information that you requested.

Sincerely,
